At the festival of Lammas we tried to create balance

As many rivers ran dry in Europe, such as the Rhine, Danube and Elbe. While we enjoyed the sun in the UK, the heat sucks the soil dry. Hosepipe ban in London and Thames Valley due to low rainfall.Crop yields are under pressure in Southern, central and eastern England.

The season changes, the weather changes. Equinox is the threshold from light to dark. Today light and dark are equal. Time to reflect on balance.

This gathering is a calm and practical one. We will call to the spirits of place, the powers of the elements, god and goddess, connect with the powers of the trees and wil practice some sigil magic with the earth.

Grounding and protection practices will be introduced and used from the beginning of the session to support clarity, safety, and containment throughout the work.

Please bring:

• a drinking vessel
• a pen and paper
• food and drink for grounding afterwards
• do some preparation before hand: just as a few minutes of reflecting on balance
